Dancing for a Cause: An Advocate's Dream

We're excited to announce that our Executive Director, Ann McCarty and her amazing dance instructor Sabrina Ross will be participating in Dance Lompoc 2019 . The work that Center Advocates do is tough....and this is one way we can have some fun and raise some money for this awesome cause. Won't you join us in making a difference by supporting the Center...and Ann's efforts?

Building off of the fun story (Flat Stanley) that was written in her birth year, "Flat Ann" (as we are calling her) wishes she had time to travel around and talk to everyone about the work she and her advocates do, why it's so important to support survivors of sexual violence, and to remind everyone that their Voice Has Power. But since she has to practice for the big event being held on March 30th right here in Lompoc, she'd love for you to help her spread the word, and share the passion of "Flat Ann". Share this post far and wide, donate what you can, and take a picture with your "Flat Ann" (feel free to print her picture). Ann and Sabrina would dearly love to win the coveted  "People's Choice Award" and one way to do so is get the most "people" votes. What that means is that every dollar raised for the Center between now and March 25th is a vote towards that prize!  While winning the prize would be awesome....what's even more awesome is that every dollar raised goes right back into our community helping us provide vital intervention services for survivors of sexual assault and child abuse as well as the many educational programs the Center has to offer. Once again....every dollar raised through this campaign counts as a vote towards the People's Choice Award!!  So, you can see why raising money is so important on multiple levels.....we win (wink, wink)...and our community wins because we are able to continue our work!

Box 148, Lompoc, CA 93438.  The mission of the Center is simple: We aim each and every day to reduce the incidence of and vulnerability to sexual assault, child abuse and human trafficking by providing education and prevention skills to community children and adults, and to alleviate the trauma experienced by survivors of these crimes by providing direct services...but we can't do this work without you. Help us have some fun all the while raising money for a great cause!  Every dollar helps us achieve both goals and we are so appreciative to you for your help!! Thank you!!
