The Dana Heitman Medical Fund

This Go Fund me is in Dana's name but he is to ill to have created it or run it his self.

Dana Heitman : Family man and local musician falls seriously ill.

In four short days Dana's life was changed drastically.
What started as a small red patch on his skin became a whole leg and total body infection.

The source of the bacteria that caused this is still unknown.

Dana is in serious condition at
Mc Kenzie Willamette Hospital in Springfield, Oregon.

He has undergone one surgery to remove some of the infectious tissue revealing that it has not infected his bones. This is a very painful illness.

Due to the infection not being able to be controlled at this time he is being transferred to Portland.

He is going to the Oregon Burn Center for the wound care he needs. and to consult with OHSU in hopes to save his leg and stop the infection.

Dana will be undergoing months of treatment and will not be able to work.

A two income family has now become a one income family almost over night.

A family must be separated in a time  we really need each other the most.
