Damaged Kids Clothing - REBRAND-

Damaged Kids is a clothing brand created to encourage a lifestyle. It is for anyone who is/has ever dealt with anxiety, depression, fear, or other trials hushed by society to speak out and use as a tool to persevere.

I originally started Damaged Kids back in January. I started small. I designed and shipped limited quantities of shirts whenever I could afford to do so. I connected with so many people in a way I never thought I would. After hearing and connecting to everyone’s stories I was determined to do more. I wanted Damaged Kids to grow, and I wanted to give more. I wanted to build a relationship with Suicide Prevention organizations as it’s a cause close to my heart, and I wanted this brand to give back to people who need it.


This Go Fund Me is for a total rebrand of Damaged Kids. It is meant to set this brand up for longevity, and to be able to create a way to give back to people who feel they have no voice. It’s important to me to be able to communicate, and develop relationships with in this brand to help others feel grounded, and uplifted.

I have brought on my business partner  and best friend Lauren. Her responsibilities will be to manage all of the funding, ordering stock, shipping, helping with designs, as well as any other ideas being turned into reality.

We will be upgrading the quality of the garments we send out, as well as personalise each of them with our tag line “Keep Your Head Up”  with our neck and hem tags.

10% of the profit of every shirt sold will go towards suicide prevention or other mental illness causes.

Cost Breakdown:
Here are is the breakdown of costs as to why we are asking for $2,000:

$745 - ordering apparel stock [with some surprises]
$215 - Upgrade Website
$70  - DK shipping boxes
$70 - various shipping packaging [with some surprises]
$100 - stamp
$105 - 1,000 neck tag
$105 - 300 hem tags
$490 - gov registrations of business and trademarked images
$100 - Damaged Kids Stickers


Goals:
$2,000 is our bare minimum to really get things going. We will print the designs specified, and get the custom packaging made and be able to ship by christmas.

$3,500 is our first push goal. This will afford us to fully invest in Damaged Kids as a registered business, and enable us to offer larger stock in general but also for larger sizes. Plus a few more surprises. 

$5,000 is our dream goal! This will afford us to crank out shirts, leggings, jackets, hoodies, you name it. Fully register Damaged Kids as a business, as well as offer larger stock in all items.
