I am Stephen Keys graduating Sr. at San Marino High School and I am part of the (Core/Support) team of a student-built and organized group called Project: Philippines. We are currently planning to send a small team of high school students to travel to the Philippines from June 10-20, 2019.  They will work at the Day of Mercy Event June 13, 2019 for Mercy Worldwide and then go to the Aeta Children’s Home (ACH) and its neighboring villages to assist with post-earthquake endeavors. Our aim is to assist with rehabilitation after the string of recent earthquakes and aftershocks.  We desire to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves and to expand the worldview of our own youth. Mercy worldwide is a nonprofit organization overseen by Nick & Denise Bordieri. MERCYworldwide strives to maximize the efforts of an ever-growing base of dedicated, passionate, and compassionate MERCY staff and volunteers (called MERCY Ambassadors) to deliver projects and programs that provide relief and care to the poor and needy around the world; with a special focus on youth.  Their mission for youth makes it obvious why our students chose this organization.

The Aeta Children’s Home is a nonprofit organization set up by Pastor Wilson Ladringan to care for the malnourished, illiterate, and impoverished Aeta children in the Balaybay Resettlement area since 1988. It has been licensed by the Philippine Department of Social Welfare and Development as a child-caring institution since June 2000.

I hope you will be encouraged to support our work in the Philippines. This year, 2019 marks our 3rd year of sending out students to volunteer and make a difference. Here are some ways your financial contributions will support the work that has already begun there:

Day of Mercy 2019 –Medical and Dental care to the children living in the streets of Manila
Providing water bottles and filters for both events
Rehabilitation of dormitories for staff and children at ACH
Purchasing of supplies for relief distribution to the villages (medicine, rice, noodles, sardines, milk, laundry soap, dish washing fluid, etc.)
Sponsoring of an outing/field trip for the ACH children to the zoo, to the beach or to some historical place
Supporting of a child in his/her education (USD 30 per month) or a staff (USD 50 per month) in the ACH

~If you donate at least $100 you can earn a 4 day, 3 night stay in Branson, Missouri; Gatlinburg, Tennessee; or Williamsburg, Virginia; valued at over $450.  

~If you donate at least $200 you can also earn a 4 day, 3 night stay in Las Vegas, Nevada; Orlando, Florida; or Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; valued at over $585.

~If you donate at least $300 you can earn any of the previous locations or 5 day, 4 night stay in Bali, Indonesia valued at $1,140...but for only $100 more (paid to the booking company, not to this fundraiser,) you can add 7 more nights valued at a total for the 11 nights at $3,135.

~If you donate at least $400 you can earn any of the previous locations or a 6 day, 5 night stay in Mazatlan, Puerto Penasco, Nuevo Vallarta, Acapulco, or Mazatlan, Mexico, valued at $1500.

~If you donate at least $500 you can earn any of the previous locations or an 8 day, 7 night stay at one of two gorgeous resorts in Thailand, one on Koh Samui and one on Phuket.  Both suites have their own private pools for the guests.  This resort stay is valued at $2100...but you can pay the booking company just $100 more and extend your trip by an additional 7 nights, taking the value to $4200 and I couldn't be more pleased to welcome you to our cause.  

The incredible resort stays are being donated to our beautiful charity, so 100% of your donations, less the nominal processing fee by GoFundMe, goes to our actual charity.  Please call or text Rick at [phone redacted] with your name and email address and a specific destination if you would like more information on how many people can be accommodated (usually up to four, with age restrictions varying per resort) and resort fees, if any.
