Dads fight with Necrotising fasciitis

Those of you who know our Dad would know the health battles he has undergone since contracting Nectrotising Fasciitis 3 years ago.
For those who are not aware of this disease, it is a flesh eating bug that gets into your body and attacks muscle and tissue, in Dads case his left leg. His entire thigh muscle has been removed. It then travelled to his hip, resulting in his hip replacement to be taken out. He now has no use of this leg.
Dad will never get better, he will never be cured. He is now dependent on lots of costly medications, for the rest of his life. This has been life changing for both Dad & Mum, with Dad having to put an end to his working career to undergo countless operations, lengthy hospital stays, tests etc which has resulted in a huge financial burden for them both.
It has been heartbreaking to see Dad battle depression, constant pain, and never to be able to walk without an aid. He can no longer do normal every day tasks himself, such as showering, getting dressed, putting his shoes on etc. It has torn our family apart seeing Dad suffer and become debilitated from this (rare) insidious disease.
Having to care for Dad, work and manage the running of the household has had an overbearing impact on Mum's physical and mental health. Having lost their main mode of transport due to an accident, they are now driving a rust riddled and unreliable car. (Parts of the car held together with duct tape)!
Dads battle is far from over. The affects from NF are devastating and completely life changing.
