Daddy Like Son

Asalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatuallahi Wa barkatu (May peace and blessings be upon you)

Samir is a 24year old male, who had a motorbike accident in April of 2014. Prior to the accident, Samir was a very responsible father of one, a very loving and caring husband, and a person who strove to always provide and take care of his family.

When the motorbike accident occured, Samir was rushed to hospital whereby an emergency operation occured to have his ruptured spleen removed and after, ended up in a coma. By Allahs (Gods) will the surgery was successful however days later, it had come to the attention of the doctors/surgeons that there was something else wrong and so 2weeks later he underwent another surgery to find that his left kidney had to be removed due to the fact it was disconnected. That surgery was also successful. After these two major organs were removed, he continued to have some complications. He had a total of 6 or 7 surgeries. Samir ended up with blood clots in his lungs which posed as a threat to his life... however he kept strong and remained as positive as could for his family.

Samirs wife was his biggest support, she spent hours a day by his side at the hospital, while also being strong enough to be the fulltime carer of their son who was born with a disease called hirschsprungs disease. She often does very intrusive procedures for him known as bowel washouts. Their son regularly becomes hospitalised due to his bowels, and has been admitted into hospital numerous times for infections and back up of stool. The last of which was november 2014, and prior to that, at the exact same time his father was hospitalised due to the motorbike accident.

You can imagine, all that the family have endured over the past year, but there is more that has affected the family! Samir was discharged in May, but then later re-admitted once again suffering from some serious Pain... The doctors informed them that this was normal for a trauma patient, he was discharged a few days later and has since been on warfarin tablets to stablize his blood due to blood clots that were present in his lungs. Later on in August/September14 Samir was suffering from pain on the right side of his stomach, only to go for scans to find out he has a large hernia which requires another surgery. He is currently on the waiting list to have this hernia removed, but is still in constant suffering and pain.

Due to the accident, followed by the current health issues Samir is facing, he has been unable to return to work, and has been unable to provide for his family for sometime now.  Samir has been diagnosed with PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder) and is on heavy medications for pain relief, constantly returns to the trauma clinic for regular check ups, and recently the pain management clinic and it has become difficult for him to return back to work. Samir and his wife have resulted to selling their cars, motorbike and other assets in order to pay back debts, pay rent, pay bills and other expenses. Samirs wife is also the fulltime carer for their son, and now for samir and cannot physically go to work either.

The family are in dire need of your help, even if it is $1, we ask you donate purely for the sake of Allaah (God) alone! This money will help the family cover debts and living bills for the next few months allowing Samir to recover completely, have the next surgery and be able to get back upon his feet to provide for his family like he has always done in the past. Above all, we ask for your du'aa (supplications) as that is most important to the family.

I will leave a few important ayat (versus) from the Holy Qur'aan aswell as some beneficial ahadith to ponder over.

"O you who believe! Spend of that with which we have provided for you, before the day comes when there will be no bargaining"
[ Al Baqarah: 254]

"Those who spend their wealth (in Allah’s cause) by night and day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve."
[Al-Baqarah:274]

"Spend (in charity) out of the sustenance that We have bestowed on you before that time when death will come to someone, and he shall say: "O my Lord! If only you would grant me reprieve for a little while, then I would give in charity, and be among the righteous." - The Holy Quran, 63:10

The Prophet Muhammad salallahu alaihi wa salam said: "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 604

The Prophet salallahu alaihi wa salam said: "Every act of goodness is charity." - Sahih Muslim, Hadith 496

May Allaah (god) continue to help Samir in his road to recovery and reward his family for the patience and courage they have shown and reward every one who has donated, who will donate and who intend to donate for Allahs (Gods) sake Allahumma Aameen.

PS. There are multiple sisters who can testify the truth to this and there is plenty of documentation that can be provided, please contact us if you wish to view it.
