Emma and Cathy

Emma is a rescue dog.  We've been together 4 years.  She likely was a puppy mill dog and when her people were through breeding left Emma in the L.A. rail yards where she was found very sick.  This is what she looked like when we first met:


Emma and I pretty much rescue one another every day.   We are inseparable.  I learned what love is by being with her.






I am doing this fundraiser on Emma's behalf as she needed emergency surgery to remove some possible cancerous tumors as well as the extraction of 8 teeth (only 1 left in her little mouth). The surgery was highly complicated due to her age (12) .  I needed to borrow money from friends to allow this to happen.  I live on disability and am in a wheelchair with MS.  Paying this money back is not an option for me without some help.

The total vet bill includes the actual removal of tumors, dental extractions, medication, complicated anesthesia, ultra-sound, x-ray, biopsy and follow up.
