Carolyn Marrs and Family

This Go Fund Me site is set up to help Carolyn (Roberts) Marrs with current and future expenses related to the unexpected death of her husband, Donny Marrs, last week. Carolyn and Donny collectively have four children, two of whom are young girls, and both are devoted parents.  Donny was self-employed, and Carolyn educates young artists of tomorrow through art education at Clay-Chalkville High School.

We met Carolyn at Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama, where we are members of the Alpha Nu chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha. Carolyn was an active member of ZTA and served as President during her time in school.

While her ZTA sisters started this page, this is a community-funded initiative. We are reaching out to all teachers, co-workers, former co-workers, friends of Carolyn or Donny, or people who know the children
to contribute. If you are just looking for a place where you can make a difference in someone's life, then this is it. Spreading the word via email and/or social media would be a BIG help too!
