Anderson's Passing

Donation protected

Anderson Waterman was born on June 11, 2013 to his proud and happy parents, Taree and Eric. 10 weeks later, Taree fed and rocked her sweet boy until he fell asleep, gently laid him in bed and went about taking care of their older son Tanner getting him ready for bed.

As they go about their evening as busy parents, Anderson slips away to forever be taken from this life. Eric tried desperately to revive his youngest son-performing CPR and mouth to mouth but Anderson had passed from what was determined as SIDS. This night forever changed this couple and their older son Tanner, now 2 1/2 years old.

This young couple has weathered so many storms in their short 2 year marriage. They were living with Taree's grandmother who suffers from dementia, taking care of her until Anderson's passing. Stricken with grief and unable to be of help to grandma, they had to find a place to live so Taree's mother could move in to help grandma. Taree and Eric moved into an apartment but they have been unable to get back up on their feet. Eric works long hours and is looking for a second job and Taree has applied for numerous jobs and has not been able to become employed. Just last month they had a blowout on their car and are unable at this point to buy new tires. All 4 need replaced but with credit cards maxed out due to funeral expenses for their beloved boy and daily living expenses they are just not able to afford them. They are driving on a donut and 3 bad tires. This is not a couple that lives beyond their means. They have 1 car, Taree cooks-no dining out for them and Eric works as many overtime hours as he possibly can.

They just need a break, for a few minutes to take a deep breath and know some of their burden has been lifted. The 1 year anniversary of Anderson's passing in coming up next week. Bills are piling up and they are struggling to just keep moving forward. If determination paid the bills, they would be rich but unfortunately we all know that doesn't work.

I am creating this page in hopes they can see a small glimpse of sunshine come their way. It would be amazing for them to take a deep breath and know the generosity of others can make a huge difference and they are not alone in their struggles and grief. Donations would be used to buy tires for their car and help pay off funeral expenses charged on credit cards.

As you look at this sweet faced boy and his family, keep in mind what Taree always says. Hold your loved ones close and appreciate every moment as it could be your last time together. Thank you for reading their story.
