Xavier Woods Memorial Fund

Judy Woods, unexpectedly and tragically, lost her handsome 18 year old son, Xavier. For those of you who don’t know Judy, her children are her life! LaVon "Xavier" Woods, was attending Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, Georgia.

Monday, August 11, Judy dropped her son off at college. Thursday, August 14, she got the heartbreaking news that her son passed away.

Xavier was a recent Hardaway High School graduate who earned a scholarship for wrestling. After his exciting freshman orientation, he and his wrestling teammates went to celebrate at the river. Sadly, he drowned in the Oconee River even after his teammate tried to save him.
