I am ecstatic to announce my candidacy to be DECA INC.’s next Executive President!
As many of you know, this year I have had the privilege to serve as a state officer for Washington DECA, representing over 11,000 members. I greatly credit this exceptional business leadership organization with helping me develop essential professional skills and building my network. DECA came to me early on in my high school career when, after a tragic loss, I was in search of hope. Little did I know that when I signed up for that intro to business class, I would also find the much-needed motivation I searched. This organization has helped develop my character and taught me what it is like to chase perseverance, work hard and ultimately reach success.
Inspired by the impact DECA has had on my personal life, the success I have had as a member, and the accomplishments I have reached through my term of service, I have launched my campaign for Executive President.
This position entails representing the 219,000 members, across 12 different countries, that compose DECA INC. The official election and final campaigning will be held at the International Career Development Conference April 27th-30th in Orlando, Florida. If elected I would serve as an ambassador for the organization, with the objective of generating greater accessibility to this organization and preparing members for their careers and life.
I thank all who have contributed to my growth in my personal life and as a leader. It is through your support that I have become inspired to launch my candidacy for this position.

Estoy entusiasmado de anunciar mi candidatura para ser el próximo Presidente Ejecutivo de DECA INC!
Como muchos de ustedes saben, este año he tenido el privilegio de servir como el presidente de nuestra región para Washington DECA, que representa a más de 11,000 miembros. Doy mucho crédito a esta organización de liderazgo empresarial por ayudarme a desarrollar habilidades profesionales esenciales y construir mi red. DECA me llegó temprano en mi carrera de preparatoria cuando, después de una pérdida trágica, estaba en busca de esperanza. Poco sabía que cuando me inscribiera en la clase de introducción empresarial, también encontraría la motivación tan necesaria que buscaba. Esta organización ha ayudado a desarrollar mi carácter y me enseñó cómo es perseguir la perseverancia, trabajar duro y, finalmente, alcanzar el éxito.
Inspirado por el impacto que DECA ha tenido en mi vida personal, el éxito que he tenido como miembro y los logros que he alcanzado a través de mi período de servicio, he lanzado mi campaña para Presidente Ejecutivo.
