Help this Poor Pup!

We found this sweetheart right outside our home in Tulum. We thought he was sun bathing, he wasn't. We asked this lovely man to help bring him into our friends car to take him to the vet. It was super hard because the pup was in so much pain. The wonderful vets gave him some drugs to calm him and took x-rays. Pup stayed at the vet over night.
We came back next day and learnt he had multiple fractures through his pelvis and hips. He needs surgery. It will cost 16,600 pesos (800 USD). We need help with caring for him in recovery also. So we would like to try for 1000 USD total. Then hopefully we can find him a new home here in Mexico or even in Canada because its that easy! I have personally done it before :) He is 6 months old, extremely well tempered and very loving.
If you can even donate 2 dollars I know we can do this. We were informed that usually in these type of situations, the dogs will be put down because money is so tight here. Even if we receive more money - we will donate every single penny/peso to the vets, shelter and foster programs in Tulum. They need so so so much help here.
