Cycling Without Age Bend

Cycling Without Age brings the experience of riding a bike back to our aging community members.

Using a battery-assisted “trishaw” (tricycle rickshaw), volunteers take seniors into the community for day trips, using the principles of slow riding, generosity, storytelling, and relationships.

Help me make this happen in our Bend community so that all of us can experience the freedom and joy that riding a bike gives us.  Young and old, together. 

The $25,000 will provide for the purchase of 2 trishaws, insurance, non-profit tax filing fees, snack/refreshments for passengers, volunteer coordination and outreach.
