Cycling USA for Cystic Fibrosis

Welcome friends. This summer I have plans to ride my bike across America. I will be raising money for clairesplacefoundation. This foundation helps families affected by Cystic Fibrosis. Help me, help them.
My inspiration for this trip is Connor Fink. He is a 1st grader living with cystic fibrosis. Learn about CF here Due to the nature of this genetic disorder Connor takes countless medications and under goes a lot of treatments. This can become an overwhelming burden on families. This is why I would like to raise money to help the families of CF children. Clairs place foundation offers a support families network and extended hospital stay grants to families affected by CF.
My good friend Doug Sawyer aka senior is crazy enough to join me. Our journey will Start July9th in Portland Oregan and end in NYC. We will ride unsuported together the whole way. We plan so spend most nights under the stars by pulling bike trailers with all the required gear. We hope to average 125 miles per day. Making the 3400 mile ride in 27 days.
I need your help. The trip expences are mounting up.
Your donations will be used to purchase gear for the trip. Some examples are a bike trailer, light weight tent, sleeping bag, water jugs, safety lights, cycling clothing, camping stove, tubes and tires. Food and transportation to the start I will pay for.
20% will help fund the trip and the 80% will go directly to the charity. Once I reach my goal of $5000 all donations will go to charity. If you would like 100% to go to ClairsPlaceFoundaton then use this pay pal account. Donation 100%
