Cycle for UBECI

I'm cycling from Paris to Amsterdam to raise money for UBECI. Leaving on the 27th July, the 600 km journey passes through France, Belgium and the Netherlands, and will take 5 days (hopefully!). While the route is a bit flatter than the West of Ireland, the current heatwave should make things interesting!
In 2017, I spent six weeks volunteering with UBECI in Ecuador. I've seen first hand all the great things that this organisation achieves, with very few resources.
UBECI is a social and educational NGO whose mission is to improve the quality of life of at-risk children who work in the Quito's local markets. Aiming to reduce the number of working hours of children, UBECI organizes playful activities focused on family integration, educational, social and emotional support, gender equality promotion, reintegration into schools and medical and dental assistance. We are working to build a world where each child has the opportunity of being a successful and productive member of their community.
