Accidents and emergencies

I am a 70yo woman who loves the outdoors-fishing, camping, rockhounding, etc. I usually am able to deal with things on my own, but I can't do this one. My problem is my faithful car has now been declared"dead" by 3 mechanics. The mechanics all say my 1993 Ford is not worth fixing. The motor needs to be replaced.
Hence the problem: I no longer have any transportation to go to Dr. Appt., grocery shopping, laundry mat, or even get my trailer home. Long story short I need a vehicle for everyday use and to pull my trailer.
I am handicaped but live independently. I live on social security. I was able to pay for small repairs but not able to buy a vehicle. I need an auto that is reliable and will not leave me stranded anywhere.
