Help G3 Robotics Travel to Houston!

Grady’s Award-Winning G3 Robotics FRC Team 1648!

We need your support to continue our success.

G3 is back and gearing up to travel! Hot on the heels of the 2017 FIRST Robotics Competition: STEAMWORKS season kick-off, we are very excited about the challenges and opportunities that this steampunk-inspired adventure will provide. Following last year's success, our team has even higher hopes and bigger dreams for the new season. With your support, the 60+ students of G3 will grow as STEM leaders and entrepreneurs even beyond their greatest expectations.

Last season, we competed at World Championships in St. Louis, MO for our second year in a row, providing an exciting global experience for our students, whose competitive robot ranked among the top 20% of all teams, worldwide. This performance level shows we are ready to take our performance to the next level in 2017 where we are counting on attending World Championships again, this time in Houston, Texas!

The continued support of our community of friends and sponsors has been vital to our success. G3 would not have been able to travel to the 2015 and 2016 FIRST Championships without your support. G3 always proudly displays your logos on their shirts, their robot, and in the team pit at every competition; we’d like to do it again this year.

As you can imagine, it's not easy to build competitive robots and send this many students and mentors to four events as far away as Columbus, GA and Houston, TX. Currently, the team needs to raise about $10,000 for travel and event registration. Our parents will contribute a great deal to offset travel expenses to every event, but some families cannot afford to contribute. We are committed to making competition travel affordable for all students, regardless of family income. To keep that commitment, we must raise funds to reduce the cost per family and provide scholarships. Your tax-deductible donation in any amount will help us reach our fundraising goal of $10,000 for the 2017 competition season. You can help the team and your favorite G3 student by making a contribution by March 3rd, 2017, the first official date this year’s competition robot hits the field in Gainesville, GA!

Your tax-deductible donation will help us continue our success! Our 501(c)(3) identification number is 20-5604200.

Thank you for your continued support of our team. You are truly changing the world!
