A whole bunch of musicians friends are doing a benefit for me on July 18th, 7pm - 1am, at Big Bills in Mt. Vernon NY.
It's to help pay off medical bills at Sloane Kettering for treatment of stage 4 Melanoma. I am being treated with an immunotherapy drug every 3 weeks. I am negotiating with hospital to not owe quite so much but don't know the outcome of that.
I've been under treatment since 2014 and so far it's kept me alive. Whoopee! The immunotherapy drug cost 24,000.00 for 1 dose! Most of that is covered by Medicare, but there are so many other costs involved. MRI's, CT Scans, other drugs, Dr's, the room etc.
It was suggested by friends that I set up this page for those who can't make it to benefit but would like to donate.
