Most of you have been following the ongoing journey Curt in his battle to fight Fibrolamellar carcinoma for the last 4 years. Unfortunately, the fight continues. He has 2 small cancerous tumors located behind his pancreas and near the spine and close to some major arteries that need to be removed. It’s in a tricky and delicate location which is why they have sought out Cjs original surgeon who has an understanding of this rare cancer. They need to travel to Boston where the surgeon is working now to have the tumors removed. Cjs dad is at a different job now and his BCN insurance ISNT AUTHORIZING them to leave the state to get Cj the best possible care.
They want to get the tumors out asap to avoid them getting any larger and complicating their removal even more so they are needing help to make this happen.
We can only imagine as friends and parents feeling a bit less stress if finances are available for these necessities.
The original 25k that was raised and immensely appreciated was exhausted during his first surgery.
