CURE FOR MIYAH
On Oct 25th 2013 my family and I was hit with the most horrific and life altering news. My 4yr old daughter was diagnosed with Stage 3B Burkitts Lymphoma. During this time Damiyah was already suffering with Kidney failure due to tumors pressings against them from its rapid growth. Damiyah spent her beginning fight in ICU due to complications where she underwent dialysis before she could start her Chemotherapy. By the will of God she pulled through and was placed in remission not long after her treatment plan. After a few months the worst happened again, She relapsed on May 25th 2014 with a slim chance of survival. She received the relapse protocol and was cleared for Bone Marrow by the grace of God. She had her transplant on July 25th 2014, which was successful and we left for home to start our road to recovery. What we thought was freedom ended up back as captivity. Damiyah relapsed again and we received confirmation on Oct 23rd 2014. Damiyah was not given the best chance at survival, at only a 5% survival rate she has proven her ability to live against that odd. Throughout this year Damiyah underwent numerous Surgeries, Surgical Procedures, dealt with life threatening infections and complications, but through it all she is living proof that the power of Christ is alive and with in her.
We started this page due to the continuous offer to help support us in our time of tragedy. We truly appreciate the prayers and support from every one near a far. We will continue to stand on Faith and believe in Gods Will. Damiyah is a true blessing from God and it shines bright through her every day she awakes.
No donation is too small and we appreciate all the continued love and support no matter where this journey leads us!
Thank you in advance to you all from Damiyah and Family. We love and appreciate all of you.
Although we have had some trying moments our belief and trust in our lord has over shined through it all. He has shown his presence and has been working his miracles through Miss Miyah. She is remaining strong and continuing her fight for freedom. Damiyah has been able to show her strength and we know that is not just of her ability but by the grace of God and his spirit that lives within her.
My family and I are grateful for all the prayers and continued support that you all are giving us and would like to simply say THANK YOU!
"Be Still and Know That I Am God" psalms 46:10
"In Miyahs' world we live against ALL odds"
As we remain patient and steadfast for the ultimate blessing of healing we ask that you all continue to pray and not just pray, but believe that the God we serve will answer our prayers.
Miyah and Fam
We thank you all for all prayers and support and still do appreciate all donations given small or large. We are remaining faithful and in prayer for Gods promise and Damiyah is definitely fighting and constantly making us proud.
Miyah and family.
All is well in Miyah's world as long as we keep praising the Most High!!
My heart goes out to Miyahs family. I read about her on Christmas Day and cant get this Beautiful Angel out of my mind. I can tell with all the love she has been surrounded by and her incredible mother by her side is what kept her so strong through this nightmare. She left this world with a smile on her face because of all the love she received. I want to wish this Angel a Happy Birthday today . To her mother, no child could possibly ask for a better Mommy than you. Damiyah received her strength and faith from you. God Bless you and this Beautiful Angel . RIP DAMIYAH
