CTHS - 24 Hour Endurance Challenge

CHERRYBROOK TECHNOLOGY HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' RITE OF PASSAGE 24-HOUR ENDURANCE RACE RAISING MONEY FOR THE CHILDREN OF OUR FALLEN COMMANDOS.

Your children wake up in the morning and call out for Daddy. They laugh as he comes in and gives them a massive hug and kiss. He gets them out of bed and makes them breakfast. He sits there and asks them what they are going to do at school that day. Maybe he asks them to draw a picture for him?

Imagine that one morning your kids wake up and Daddy is not there. He never will be again. How do you try to explain to them that Daddy has given his life so that everyone else might have a better one?

 Imagine that.

For a lot of families, this is not an “imagine”. This is what they face every morning for the rest of their lives. Commando families face this EVERY DAY. These soldiers and their families have made a choice. A choice to risk their life so that you and your family can live a better one.

We have a debt to them that we really can’t repay. However, we can help to make some difference in the lives of their family members left behind.
