Prayers for Piper

Earlier today at a vet clinic in Oklahoma, a couple brought in a 3 month old Australian Shepherd with her eyeball hanging out of its socket. It was caused by playing too hard with an older dog when he bit her head & it popped out. After being told the potential medical bill for surgery, the owners decided they did not want to pay the cost to fix her eye & told the vet to put her down. They had just gotten her 3 hours earlier & were already willing to throw her away. Thankfully, my brother received a phone call from a fourth year vet student asking if he would want the precious aussie girl & quickly said yes. They moved forward with the surgery, reattaching her eye & sewing it shut for the next two weeks in hopes of her regaining full eyesight. It has been a dream of his to one day own an Australian Shepherd & as he has learned, the Lord works in mysterious ways. Through tragedy and loss of just losing his Border Collie, Addie, God provided an opportunity for him to save a life & fulfill his dream of owning an Australian Shepherd & give a loving home to a dog that would've been otherwise cast aside. While it is a blessing within the storm, saving a life comes with a high price of medical bills. Austin being a full time college student, & only working part time, he does not have the means to fully support the bill. Please help him give this sweet girl a home that she deserves. Anything & everything is greatly appreciated. It only takes a mustard seed to move mountains.
