Hello!
My name is Clarissa, I'm studying graphic design at the University of Kansas. I will be graduating next year and flying the coop to take on the real world.
One of my career aspirations is to design for positive social change on a global level. What can I say, I want to make the world a better place!
I discovered that my university offers an internship program that partners with an organization called EUSA to place the student with a company in the Dublin, Ireland area. From May 25-July 18 (2015), I will be taking an internship through this program! This will give me a chance to learn how to collaborate with different cultures, network while I'm abroad, gain insight as a young graphic designer and perspective on the world.
It will be a professional experience that could help me make my dreams become a reality after I graduate. I have the passion, the energy and the drive to make the most of this opportunity but I still need funding to make the most of this trip. The money I raise will cover meals and the bus while I'm in Dublin this summer.
If you’re interested in helping me make these dreams come true, any donation will be graciously appreciated.
For those who wouldn't mind sending me their mailing address, I would like to send a personalized thank you postcard from Dublin for any donations over $25. Donations over $50 will receive a print after my trip from the collection of photographs I take! Furthermore, let me know if you'd like to arrange to receive something special while I'm abroad.
