This GoFundMe is inspired by Christine McDonald, author of the book 'Cry Purple'. A team of people are working to begin fundraising efforts to make the CRY PURPLE movie happen.
The CRY PURPLE movie will be based off of her book, and true story. It is her journey through homelessness, substance-abuse, prostitution and prison. But, it doesn't end there. We also walk with her through blindness, motherhood and happiness. This story is from the heart and is an eye-opening view of life on the streets and beyond. Your heart will be stirred, moved to action, and inspired. The screenplay is completed now, written by award winning screenplay writer, Laura Woodworth and will be Produced by Anita Cordell, AKA River Productions.
Now, let's make the movie. This initial fundraiser is small compared to what the vision is. With this particular campaign, River Productions is proud to partner with One by One Project, our 501c3 Fiscal Sponsor, in our fundraising endeavors. All donations in this campaign will be sent to One by One Project directly.
Donations do not see a return, but you may receive a tax advantage. Please ask your CPA.
Once donations are received, One by One Project, will then disperse to the project as needed.
