Critical Aged Care worker shortage in Australia!!!

Donation protected
Here is the challenge for EVERY aged care business in Australia: you can have fantastic facilities, excellent technology, plenty of money, but if you don’t have sufficient qualified and compassionate staff you have NOTHING!

**The Andrews Government recently stated they were going to provide $250 Million  to supply 1.100 Nurses and midwives into the system. They didn't say how or when.

!!!With our contacts and currently operating legal pathways to Australia, we could provide between 8,000 to 10,000 "Australian Qualified" staff servicing Aged Care for the 250 Million Dollars!!!
(SEE COSTINGS below and divide 250M by 20K)

**Royal Commission into “Aged Care Quality and Safety” is about to start we won't know the outcome for at least 18 months.

What we need is more professionally trained Aged Care Workers this is what you are donating for,to allow us to provide scholarships to those Filipino Nurses who already have a Bachelor degree but need to update their training to meet the Australian Standards.

DO YOU WANT TO SEE OUR ELDERLY GO THROUGH ANOTHER 18 MONTHS OF PAIN???

$$$ If NO, then please donate NOW $$$

If you need to know more please read on or go to www.ihcs.org.au

Thank you in advance for your compassion and concern remember we will all be old one day!

Program Overview.

Hi, I’m Robert Farrow, CEO of "In Home Care Solutions Pty Ltd" IHCS ,Melbourne, Australia and President of Nursing Solutions inc, (NSi) Philippines.
I have over 10 years’ experience working in the Aged Care sector, starting as a Volunteer at Bethlehem Hospital Caulfield, Melbourne then moving into Palliative care at "The Fernlea House Palliative Day care centre", Emerald, Victoria.
There I worked as a volunteer complementary therapist and then joined the Committee of Management for 4 years, culminating as Vice President and President for 2 years.

Facts.

After over 4 years of research, by the federal government, into what our ageing community wanted, that culminated in 2012 with the then Gillard Government passing a bill called the"Living Longer Living Better initiative"

I and my team, after meeting with the Honorable Mark Butler, then Minister for Health and Ageing, started to look for ways to provide the then stated predicted shortage of 700,000 carers needed by 2025!

It should be noted at this point that over 90% of those surveyed said they wanted to spend their final years at home, NOT IN A HOME!!!

We then took 2 years to set up our companies and partnerships both in the Philippines and Australia culminating FOUR years later with  over 50 Filipino Nurses being trained to Certificate 3 standards in the Philippines!

Why the Philippines? because they have over 300,000 unemployed Nurses, all with 4 years University degrees as Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) BUT they do not have the funds to then go onto Certificate 4 and be sponsored for a work permit!

English is their preferred language for training and all legal matters all our students have passed IELTS 5.5 or greater some achieving 7 and 9!

It should be noted that over 300,000 Filipinos already live in Australia but do we hear any problems with them! On the contrary based on my experience if asked who is your best staff member, 9 out of 10 Aged Care operators will say our Filipino's!!

THIS IS WHY WE ARE TURNING TO YOU!

$$$ Where will your money GO! $$$

The breakdown of costs is as follows. (Please note they are estimates that may go up or down depending on times of travel and the dollar exchange rate.)

1. Online training course with support for travel and other services.
     $2,600. Paid to NSi Philippines.
2. VISA, plus Certificate IV deposit and Airfare.
$3,700. Paid to individual companies on behalf of the student.
3. Balance of Cert IV course paid to Educare College Brisbane.
     $7,500
4. Six months of food and accommodation Paid to a Student Home Care accommodation. Some may be provided for students pocket money before they find work.
   $6,000
( It should be noted that the student under the SC500 student Visa can work in Aged Care up to 40 hours per fortnight to supplement their income.

TOTAL cost $20,000

What next.

Once the student has completed their Certificate IV we (IHCS) take over and place them into suitable employment along with arranging, at NO COST to the student, the relevant work permit so they may join our Aged Care work force at an entry level but providing the necessary skills and compassion to those who so desperately need it.

Summary.

*We need over 700,000 carers to help care for our ageing population.

* The Philippines can supply all that we need and more if necessary

* We need to take control of the provision of supplying Quality, Compassionate, English Speaking, Care workers, not waste 250 Million Dollars of Tax payer funds to only supply 1,100 people.
