Help Cristol recover! 

My name is Michelle, a cousin of Cristol's and here is her story:
On June 22nd, Cristol was involved in a 4 wheeler accident in the Dominican Republic (her home) while in her driveway.  She was a passenger on a friend's 4 wheeler that appears to have had something go wrong.  The exact cause of the accident is unknown.  Cristol has not been able to recollect the event.  Cristol and Jeff, as well as many other people in the area use 4 wheelers as a form of transportation rather than an automobile.  The terrain is rugged and difficult to navigate.  Cristol's spinal cord has been severed between the C5 and C6 vertebrae.  Medically speaking, Cristol will never walk again and will have use of her hands only after intense therapy.  She also has damage to C2 and C3 limiting her ability to breathe on her own.  She has undergone one surgery thus far to place screws in her vertebrae.  Cristol has also been intubated as she has had an infection in her lungs and challenges with breathing.  Another surgery is planned later this week to place more screws and to perform a tracheostomy. 
Cristol has no health insurance.  She remains in ICU.  Doctor's prognosis is that Cristol will never walk again.  Medical bills are already adding up to insurmountable amounts.  I cannot begin to imagine the overall costs of her care, but what I do know is that together -  WE CAN HELP!       
       
For those of you that know Cristol, you know she is a God loving woman that is always willing to help anyone, anywhere.  While in the Dominican, she has been giving back by caring for animals throughout the local communities... a true heart for serving.  Now she and Jeff need us  -   The hospital she is in requires PRE-PAYMENT for surgeries etc., so immediate help is needed.    Although the doctors say Cristol may not be able to do certain things again - I know, Jeff knows, and Cristol knows we serve a miracle working God!  Please pray for Cristol and Jeff as well as the medical professionals that are caring for Cristol.  We are believing for healing and God's touch on Cristol and Jeff as they walk through this together.
