In 2013 Craig Pike, an accomplished and Dora Nominated actor found himself without work for 30 days. He decided to put his entrepreneurial skills to use, skills that he learned in a High School business class in St.John's Nfld, and start Craig's Cookies.
He made a post on Facebook.
A friend ordered 1 Dozen Classic Cookies.
As Craig took the cookies out of the oven, he thought he should take a photo and maybe start an instagram page for his new business: Craig's Cookies!
In that first 30 days Craig sold 200 dozen cookies just from social media advertising. PHEW!
Almost 5 years later, Craig has sold over 100,000 cookies, been on the cover of Air Canada's EnRoute Magazine, is in the midst of a 6 month POP-UP Shop at Williams Sonoma/Yorkdale Mall and most recently featured in Toroto Life's 2017 'Holiday Gift Guide'.
Craig's next step is to open his own shop, and bring his Mom's cookie recipe to more Torontonians.
Craig's dream is to have a cookie shop that also promotes community and kindness. Designed after his grandmothers kitchen in Kilbride, Newfoundland, Craig's Cookies will be a haven of nostalgia. You will literally walk into a desinged Newfoundland kitchen and feel like your Mom or Grandmother has baked cookies JUST FOR YOU!
While this dream becomes closer to a reality each day, there is still a ways to go for Craig to save enough money to get this off the ground.
Craig is hoping to open his very own shop on March 1st 2018, just in time for his 5th Year Anniversary.
This is where you come in.

The cost of opening a cookie shop in an accessible location in Parkdale, Toronto is beyond the means of just Craig himself. One cookie at a time, it truly takes a village to create commuminty, and any support is so deeply appreciated.
