Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund for CPS Houston Employees & their Families

A message from CPS President, Kyle Yarbrough:

A large number of CPS Houston employees have suffered staggering losses from Hurricane Harvey including homes, autos, personal property and lost wages.

Our mission is simple:  provide aid for our CPS family members.  With your help, we are providing financial assistance to our employees including more than $70,000 paid in lost wages.  We have also provided additional funds & building materials to rebuild homes of our most affected.  

To all who have contributed we are grateful.  We encourage others to dontate here or to other charitable organizations serving the Houston area. 

We will post more photos in the days to come documenting our efforts to rebuild homes and serve our CPS family members' ongoing needs.  I am very proud of our employees who have come together and volunteered their time and talents to help one another.

CPS Houston Controller, Tina Copenhagen, is the designated beneficiary to manage and distribute funds to CPS employees.  All funds will be deposited in a newly formed CPS Houston Employee Disaster Relief account.  Our external accounting firm, Ham, Langston & Brezina, LLC, will provide a final review once complete.
