Child's Promise International (CPI) is a nonprofit organization with a mission focused on providing education funds to children in a small fishing village named Takoradi in Ghana, West Africa.
Over the years, CPI has been raising funds to build classrooms and purchase classroom materials needed for the school. Starting in year 2017, we launched a program to connect the education sponsors within the U.S. with the students in Takoradi.
In fall 2018, couple of our CPI members are planning to visit the school to meet and build relationships with the students and inspect the needs from the school to enhance CPI's system as well as the communications with the school administration.
The funds raised through GoFundMe will be used to support the following:
1) CPI members' flight expenses from the U.S. to Takoradi (via Accra);
2) Gifts for the students; and
3) Class materials (i.e. books, notebooks, pens, etc) used for the education activities with the students.
We will be continuing our fundraising until fall 2018. We greatly appreciate your kindness and generosity to support our beloved students in Takoradi!
