Coyotes are one of the most persecuted species in North America. So we're creating a hardcover photo book of coyotes, eastern wolves, red wolves, and the newer wolf-coyote hybrid, the coywolf or eastern coyote.
Let the coyote tell its own story, through photos. 100% of your donations go to the creation of this book. To pay the photographers, to pay the experts to format the book, and to market the book if necessary.
100% of the positive reactions this book receives across North America and internationally will work in favour of coyotes, red wolves, eastern wolves, and coywolves. Have you ever seen an animal documentary that made you want to donate to its conservation? Have you ever seen photos of another species and thought that our beautiful nature needs to be protected?
Coyotes, for one, need protection: not from annihiliation, but from cruelty. From leg snares where the animal lashes out for freedom helplessly, knowing his family is nearby, to neck snares where the innocent coyote feels metal burrs gnawing at his arteries, to the killing contests that sadists run, thinking there will never be pushback from the public. Well, there will be pushback, and we're helping to both start it and to keep it going.
Good people are everywhere, just unorganized.
The sooner this book is published, the better. The sooner it's picked up by libraries across North America, the better.
