COVID19 Relief Fund Employees of Emilia Flowers
Donation protected
Emilia Flowers was founded by Maryam Bloori, an Iranian-American woman from Shiraz, 25 years ago. Maryam started this business out of her 1971 stripped VW bus, hauling flowers to and from work everyday. She started the business on her own and built it from the ground up. She has been the creative mind behind the business, touching the lives of people near and far. Now, she has 4 lovely, dedicated employees who all depend on their earnings from the shop. Due to the global tragedy of COVID-19, we have shut our doors. This has put the employees of Emilia Flowers in a very precarious financial situation as it has for many many others. At the same time, it is not clear how much, if at all, the government will intervene to help small businesses like Emilia Flowers as it has historically come to bat for big businesses, leaving small businesses and workers without real resources. Any donations will go to the employees of Emilia Flowers to help with rent, food and other living expenses while they are out of work. We greatly appreciate any donation you are able to give! If you’re not financially able, we ask that you please share this fundraiser to spread the word. We wish everyone wellness and prosperity during this trying time. Thank you!
