Covering costs of bear damage

Please help! My brother Johns car was parked out in front of his house in Gatlinburg and a BEAR literally opened the door and got trapped inside!! He needs all the help he can get! He is only 17 and is in school/working full-time. My mom, brother, and sister recently just moved back to Tennessee a couple weeks ago to have a fresh start and they need all the help they can with covering the costs of the damage.
