As a mother myself I couldn’t even start to fathom what this beautiful family are going through!
Thomas George Hollowell was born as a beautiful healthy little boy on 10th April 2018 - the 5th child of a beautiful family.
Only 3 weeks old his amazing mum noticed his eyes were turning a little yellow and he started vomiting after every feed so mother’s intuition, she took him to GC hospital!
Within 12 hours of being there and many tests they were rushed to lady cilento hospital in Brisbane where more comprehensive testing happened and has resulted in a liver transplant for this little fighter! He was given 24-48 hours to find a donor which we are sooo grateful for and came alone and happened just at the right time ... however we are far from out of the wood works !
Thomas has a rare disease which they are still unsure of what exactly entails! He is still in ICU, a coma and has a nurse around the clock 24/7 so each moment, hour, day, night and week are precious for this wee boy and family!
Please can we help as much as we possible can because not only does this family have to commute to Brisbane, but accommodation, petrol, food without even starting on the every day bills and expenses and trying to support the rest of the family and 4 other children at home here on the Gold Coast!
