Help Us Build Our Food Trailer

Hi all,

My name is Alex and my partner Juan and I are going out on a limb starting our own food truck business and need you to help make our story a success.

Our Story:

Juan is from Puerto Rico and grew up inspired by his grandparent's authentic Boricua recipes. I was raised by immigrant parents in a traditional Mexican household in Phoenix, Arizona. Destiny brought us together when our worlds collided in San Juan Puerto Rico in 2013. It wasn't long before plans to combine our passion for food and the idea to start our own business lead to us move to Phoenix in 2014. 

Our vision of sharing our of love of Puerto Rican food has now become our mission.  We need your generosity to help us pay the second deposit for the construction of our very own food trailer. Our friends and family have already been so generous as to get us to the half way point on our goal. We are now fully dependent on the generosity of strangers if we are to make our goal.  Even a $5 goes a long way and sharing this with others who may be able to donate is a huge help.

How imporant is this to us? It's so important that we've been saving money for this for the past 2 years and In November I quit my job to work on our business full-time.  It's scary because we don't exactly know how our world will change with the new administration in charge, but we do know that we won't let fear stop us. Love will always trump hate and we hope that with your help we can make our business a success.
