I'm running the Dublin Half Marathon on Saturday 22nd.
I've been hampered by all the "rookie jogger" problems - injury, dips in motivation, over exertion- but I'm gonna get there.
And I want to take the opportunity to try and raise some sponsorship for The Socialist Party Fighting Fund.
No sponsorship is too small or too large. You are guaranteed my sincere thanks and a photo of me looking very wrecked but hopefully very satisfied.
The Socialist Party does not take funding off business interests or take corporate donations. We rely on our links and connections with communities, workers and the people we fight and campaign alongside.
The Party played a huge role in repeal, water charges and any number of community campaigns. We are deeply involved the campaign to end the housing crisis and despite the state's efforts to criminalise us and isolate us we are continuing to grow and develop our ideas.
All sponsorship will go the the SP fighting fund and will be used in our effort to build a socialist alternative in society.
