Wheelchair Van for Analiz!!

Analiz Cortinas was born on November 30, 1996 with Spina bifida and severe Hydrocephalus. She has undergone over 30 surgeries since birth and is a lifelong patient at Children’s Medical Center and Scottish Right Hospital here in Dallas, TX. Analiz will never be able to care for herself and requires daily 24hr care. Presently, Analiz's family is going through some difficult times and need some help. Analiz is in drastic need of a wheelchair accessible van. Her family had a 1999 handicap van that was in bad shape and as of this summer it finally went out on them. The van has too many mechanical failures to fix and they need something more reliable to take Analiz to her appointments or to go out for the day. As if car issues were not enough worries, Analiz’s #1 supporter and right hand, Mom Mari, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and has undergone a double mastectomy. On any other day, Mari would be doing what has to be done to make sure Analiz is taken care of. However, due to her surgery she is unable to see to it that Analiz has all she needs. Analiz’s family, Dad Geno, whom is self-employed and brother David, who quit his job to stay home and care for both sister and mom, are doing their part to keep things as normal as possible for Analiz while mom recovers but the van situation has got them all running on empty. Geno and Mari tried to purchase a van on their own but couldn't get approved with their income. Please join with us to help the Cortinas Family get the van they need for Analiz. Ella ha experimentado más de 30 cirugías desde su nacimiento y es paciente en Children's Medical Center y en Scottish Right Hospital aquí en Dallas, Texas. Analiz nunca será capaz de cuidar de sí misma y requiere atención de 24 horas diarias. Actualmente, Analiz y su familia están atravesando algunos momentos difíciles y necesitan ayuda. Analiz Cortinas esta necesitada de un van para discapacitados. Su familia tenía una camioneta (1999 hándicap van) que ya estaba en mal estado y este verano finalmente los dejo a pie. La camioneta tiene demasiadas fallas mecánicas para solucionar y necesitan algo más confiable para llevar a Analiz a sus citas y para transporte diario. Como si los problemas con el coche, no fueran suficiente, la mano derecha y quien cuida de Analiz, su mamá Mari, fue diagnosticada recientemente con cáncer de mama y ha sufrido una doble mastectomía. En cualquier otro día, Mari haría lo necesario para asegurarse del cuidado de Analiz. Sin embargo, debido a la intervención quirúrgica esto no le permite mirar que Analiz tenga todo lo necesario. La familia de Analiz, su Papá Geno quien trabaja por cuenta propia y hermano David, quien renunció a su trabajo para quedarse en casa para cuidar de su hermana y mama, están haciendo de su parte para mantener las cosas lo más normal posible para Analiz mientras mamá se recupere pero esta situación del vehículo los tiene a todos ellos desanimados. Geno y Mari trataron de comprar un vehículo para discapacitados por sus propios medios, pero no pueden recibir la aprobación por falta de ingresos.
