Corstorphine + Wright Velo Bikers!

Architects are well renowned for being a sucker for a challenge...VELO BIRMINGHAM! 

Throughout this year Corstorphine + Wright are fundraising for the incredible Marie Curie, who care for people living with any terminal illness and provide assistance, comfort, and wellbeing towards the end of their life.
Since 1948, when Marie Curie Memorial Fundraising was established, people have been providing funds and gathering donations to ensure this incredible service can continue for those who truly need it.

In true Corstorphine + Wright style, we have been hosting a plethora of events! Our quiz was an astounding success, the Grand National sweepstake was hugely popular, and anything revolving around food is a surefire way to get pockets emptied out!!

As we wing rapidly through the year, a group of seven architects in the Corstorphine + Wright Stourbridge office are pedalling their socks off to train for the punishing Velo Birmingham bike race. 
On September 24th they will descend upon Birmingham to join 15,000 others on the 100 mile route for a fantastic cause.

Crossing three counties and a devilish 6,555 feet of climbing, the route along closed roads seems to have been chosen specifically to anger and daunt all participants, whilst offering the toughest challenge many of them have ever faced. 

With a team target of £1000 we are hoping to absolutely smash, the team are pushing on with their workouts and fitness levels - not doing this half-heartedly!
