Daniel Cordero's sister, Indira Cordero, passed away tragically on May 3rd due to complications from lupus. She was living in Barinas, Venezuela and had been suffering from the disease for five years.
She had been taking medication to control the disease for the first two years but then due to a shortage of the drugs and a lack of funds, the family was no longer able to buy it to treat Indira.
Indira's health deteriorated to the point where doctor's were doing blood transfusions every two months.
Indira is survived by her husband and 15-year-old son.
