On the afternoon of Thursday, February 22, a devastating fire burned through the Corsica Apartments located on Burke Street in the City of Pico Rivera. As a result of the fire, more than 300 occupants of the 141 unit complex were displaced, with some of them not able to return back home due to their apartment being uninhabitable.
The City of Pico Rivera will be collecting monetary donations to help those affected by this devastating fire. Your donations will greatly assist apartment residents in getting back to their normal lives as they try to cope and move on from this terrible tragedy.
All donations collected by the City of Pico Rivera will be dispersed to the residents of the Corsica Apartments. If you wish to donate gift cards from various retailers, you may do so at the City's Parks and Recreation Office, 6767 Passons Boulevard.
