Copper's surgery and care fund

Copper was surrendered at 10 days old when it was discovered that he had a cleft palate. The main issues with cleft palate puppies is they will aspirate when eating or drinking.

Because of this Copper has required special feedings around the clock as he is unable to eat or drink by himself.  Copper has also needed multiple trips to the vet to make sure his lungs stay clear as many times aspirating will lead to pneumonia.

Copper is currently 7 weeks old weighing in at only 9 oz. We are hoping he can gain enough weight to have surgery to repair his palate. Unfortunately the surgery alone is estimated to cost $3,000.00 not to mention after care costs.
