$500 of $5,000 goal

Raised by 6 people in 28 months
We are a small crew of three putting together the COOK with BROOKS Television Show. We are wearing many hats to make this happen. This will be a documentary style educational program with emphasis on local farmers, restaurants, chefs, and any other interesting stories we can find about food. We believe we can make it entertaining and more than just a cooking show.

Because we are telling stories about small family farms and businesses, we don't have big companies as our backers.  Therefore, we need your support to from our local community the love their Arkansas Farms and Local Restaurants.

Please support us in our mission to tell the whole story of food. We want to make this show fun for viewers, while showing off our food community. We would be so grateful to any money you can give to help us our now that we are on AETN/PBS.  We have airtime. We have a great show. Now we need your support to pay our staff to produce this wonderful Arkansas food focused show. #HomegrownProduction

It is official! Cook with Brooks will be airing on AETN/PBS on Saturdays coming this January 2017. It is at the end of an afternoon cooking block, rotating between "America's Test Kitchen" and "Cooks Country", the most popular and most watched cooking programs on television with over 2 million weekly viewers. That means we will have at least 14,000 to 33,000 watching our show 52 times a year. Not to mention our on-line presents which will continuous. Our Farm-to-Table show will reach almost all of Arkansas and a little into the surrounding states. We are looking for individuals and follow businesses to support us in our mission of putting a spotlight on the farmers you know an love at the farmers market. And the restaurants you love and eat at weekly because you know they have conscious cuisines that use local ingredients as much as possible.

There are two options on funding. An individual gofundme donation or a monthly spot on our show. You can buy a spot at the beginning and end of the show which will forever be embedded in the episode. You will have greater reach statewide than any other Arkansas network. Your audience will be affluent and educated. You will align your brand with PBS, voted most trustworthy institution nationally for seven consecutive years. Your message with be in a clutter free environment. You will have more bang for your buck with our affordable underwriting levels. Finally...because we think you want show off local food and independent businesses and educate people on why the quality of our food matters.

Please donate now or call to set up a time to over sponsorship levels and how they can benefit you.

So, our first show featuring Eleven at Crystal Bridges is completed. Chef William Lyle pairs food not just with wine for us, but also with the art at Crystal Bridges. In our first episode, he makes us quick Coq au Vin. This is a nice healthy winter dish with local herbs and chicken. This is a one pan dish that is easy to cook for the whole family. The thyme and wine makes this feel like an expensive meal, but easy enough to make at home. Watch it now and learn how.

Because of the great feedback we have received, we have our second show being shot tomorrow. Third is scheduled for next week. Exciting times, but still no money from the sponsors until we get airtime. Please help us to keep growing. See the value of the stories we have to tell and support our small team. Thanks again! #KeepGrowing

Hello all, unfortunately, last weeks second show did not happen because of scheduling, but we are pushing on to the next show we wanted to do. More updates to come once we get that scheduled. We still need money to get studio space built out, so we are not so dependent on local restaurant kitchens being available to shoot in. Please, please help support Steven and Jeremy on producing a high quality, locally focused show about the story of food. Remember how they have supported you in the past and show them some love. ‪#‎KeepGrowing‬ ‪#‎HomegrownShow‬ ‪#‎GrowCookEat‬
