Cooking for People in Need

Our mission is to travel around Europe, cook for the people in need and help the future generation learn about the impact of food on the environment and our health. As most of the schools don’t offer cooking or permaculture lessons we plan to collaborate with educational projects and raise awareness on the subject.

We are Andreea & Dragos, originally from Romania, currently living in the UK and soon to be nomads. While working the 9-5 office job (Andreea) and the busy London’s restaurant kitchens (Dragos) we started saving money for our project and in November, 2016 we bought an old, beautiful van to convert to a rolling home and a kitchen. We plan to start this amazing journey after our wedding, in August!

Dragos is a professional chef with a vast experience in European cuisine. Our plan is not only to cook for the people who need a warm meal but to offer a ‘restaurant experience’, serving them delicious food and helping them forget about their worries for a little bit.

We believe that getting proper meals can make a huge difference in people’s life. Unfortunately, in Europe the problem is real, with many homeless people, abandoned children and refugees living a life full of worries. Food should not be one.

With the money we already saved we will manage to finish the repairs to the car and we already bought some of the pots and utensils. However, we will still need funds to buy the ingredients for the cooking, the dishes for serving the food, teaching supplies and the petrol to move from one place to another. So this is where we need your help!
