Road to a Cancer-Free Future

Ruqayyah "Cookie" Hassan  is 16 years old and goes to James Logan High School. When she grows up she wishes to explore the field of cosmetology. She has unfortunately come to a little bit of a bump in the road, her diagnosis of Hodgkin's Lymphoma which affects over 200,000 people in the United States alone.

Cookie lives with her mom, Shareena who is a single mom. We all know what a battle it could be to raise a child solo, much less one child who is plagued with cancer.

Every donation, no matter the amount will help shorten the long road ahead for Cookie and her mom, in the search for a cancer free life. Donations will be used for chemotherapy sessions and for other aspects of Cookie's life which will be affected by this cruel disease.
