Continue Ray's Education

I have worked really hard to get myself out of debt and start getting my life on track financially. After the company I was working for ended their contract and moved out of town I started working with BVR (Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation), a government organization that helps people with disabilities get back on track.

BVR has given me the opportunity to go to school and get an Associates Degree from a local state college. However there are some catches. BVR will not pay for any previous debt and the college requires my previous transcripts.

I’ve gotten my student loans out of default and I’m on track to paying them off. But in order to get my transcripts I have to pay my old school the balance of the money I owe them.

This is where you come in. I don’t like asking for money or help. I never have, but I also do not want this opportunity to pass me by. I want to get more of an education so I can make enough money to provide for myself and my husband. Minimum wage jobs just don’t cover living expenses. I’ve tried so long to get by on my own, but that’s not working anymore. I know I can be more productive. So with that I ask you for your help. Anything will help.
