Conrad Willems is a 17 year old kid who was struck by a drunk driver riding his bike home from the gym on Tuesday May 7th.
The driver took off leaving Conrad alone and bleeding in the street.
Conrad's injuries include a broken pelvis, and tibia, lacerations, road rash on multiple extremities, and an abdominal hematoma.
Due to the severity of Conrad's injuries, his recovery will be long and painful.
The family will have out of pocket expenses on multiple levels regardless of insurance. The insurance coverage is still unconfirmed as far as the at-fault vehicle goes.
The driver who hit Conrad and left him for dead has 5 prior DUIs. He knew he hit Conrad and decided to run, and was ultimately taken in at gunpoint.
His family has put their lives, jobs, farm and activities on hold. They are rallied around Conrad 24/7 right now and would much appreciate any support along with your prayers.
