Conference Against Military Bases

We are organizing the first International Conference Against US/NATO Military Bases to be held in Dublin, Ireland, on November 16-18, 2018. Peace movement leaders and scholars from more than 30 countries, including Nobel Peace Laureates, will be speaking at this conference.
The goal of our Global Campaign is to fight against militarization of our planet, which is threatening global peace, destroying our environment, redirecting our much needed resources away from basic human needs, and has put the whole humanity on the brink of annihilation.
In order to make it possible for people from different countries with different languages to participate, we need to provide simultaneous translation for participants from around the world. This is a very expensive, but very necessary, service which we hope your generosity will help us provide the the people of all nationalities.
Insuring the participation in the conference of speakers from all corners of the globe, especially from Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East, also requires that we contribute to their travel costs. We are appealing to you to help us guarantee that the voices of our fellow activists from these regions of the world are present and heard at the Conference.
