CONNECTANDO CULTURAS es una asociación que busca generar impacto positivo a través del arte, la cultura, las relaciones internacionales y el desarrollo.
El proyecto consta de una exhibición de arte bajo el tema "Conectando Culturas" con 1 artista en representación de cada país (ahora mismo 25 artistas y por tanto 25 países representados).
En cada lugar donde llevamos la exhibición hacemos también workshops, eventos de debate etc buscando generar el máximo impacto posible dependiendo del lugar en donde estemos.
Bajo la idea "Think Global Act Local" (Piensa Global, Actúa Local) en cada país donde exhibimos nos ponemos en contacto con un ONG local a quienes donamos los fondos recaudados en su país pues creemos que son ellos quienes mejor sabrán invertirlos.
Buscamos ser representantes del Objetivo 17 de las Naciones Unidas "Colaboración para los objetivos" y lo aplicamos a toda nuestra filosofía ; mostrando cómo nuestras diferencias que tan a menudo son puestas como problema o excusa son todo lo contrario; una herramienta para conseguir todos nuestros objetivos y aportar un gran valor al mundo:
- 1 artista por país
- Equilibrada a nivel de género
- Intergeneracional : desde los 18 hasta los 75 años
- Intersectorial : Diferentes sectores ayudan a este proyecto (startups, empresas, universidades, otras ONGs...)
Con todo esto, conseguimos una inteligencia colectiva tremenda :)
Pero... y entonces ¿Cuál es el objetivo de esta campaña? ¿Cómo sabemos que lo vamos a hacer bien?
El objetivo de esta campaña es llevar esta exhibición alrededor del mundo para seguir realizando actividades y recaudando fondos para diferentes ONGs
Sabemos que lo vamos a hacer bien por nuestro recorrido, acabamos de empezar la ruta internacional (pero es que antes no hemos parado):
- Cocktail solidario en el IE Business School de Madrid & Charla sobre los ODS de la ONU y la situación de los refugiados con + de 200 participantes
- Cocktail Solidario en La Real Casa de la Moneda en Segovia
- Cocktail Solidario en La Galería arte Atlántico en Coruña
- Workshop con refugiados y lectura de poemas de diferentes idiomas en el Centro Cultural de la Universidad de Castilla La Mancha
- Exhibición en la Semana de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible en la Universidad Europea de Madrid
¿Y en nuestra exhibición internacional? Pues hemos empezado a lo GRANDE con un debate en el PARLAMENTO EUROPEO en BRUSELAS, sobre cómo el arte puede impactar positivamente la sociedad con nuestra exhibición como ejemplo de que ES POSIBLE.
En este debate como no podía ser de otra forma, hicimos una buena mezcla: artistas, representantes de la ONU, Eurodiputados, miembros de la Comisión Europea de Cultura,refugiados, líderes de ONGs y 30 plazas abiertas a participantes de manera gratuita.
¡Ahora nos llevamos la exhibición a las NACIONES UNIDAS! en Ginebra

CONNECTING CULTURES is an association that seeks to generate positive impact through art, culture, international relations and development.
The project consists of an art exhibition under the theme "Connecting cultures" with 1 artist representing each country (now 25 artists and therefore 25 countries represented).
In each place where we do the exhibition we also carry out workshops, debates, events, etc., looking for the maximum possible impact depending on where we are.
Under the idea "Think Global Act Local" in each country where we expose we get in touch with a local NGO to which we donate the funds raised in your country because we believe that they are the best know how to invest them
We seek to be representatives of Goal 17 of the United Nations "Collaboration for the objectives" and apply it to our entire philosophy; showing how our differences that are so often put as a problem or an excuse are the opposite; a tool to achieve all our goals and bring great value to the world:
- 1 artist per country
- Balanced at the gender level
- Intergenerational: from 18 to 75 years
- Intersectoral: different sectors help this project (startups, companies, universities, other NGOs ...)
With all this, we get a tremendous collective intelligence :)
But ... and then what is the objective of this campaign? How do we know we're going to do it right?
The objective of this campaign is to take this exhibition around the world to continue carrying out activities and raising funds for different NGOs
We know we will do well on our trip, we just started the international route (but we have not stopped before):
- Solidarity cocktail at the IE Business School in Madrid and a talk on the UN SDGs and the situation of refugees with more than 200 participants
- Solidarity cocktail at La Real Casa de la Moneda in Segovia
- Solidarity cocktail in the art of La Galería Atlántico in La Coruña
- Workshop with refugees and reading of poems from different languages at the Cultural Center of the University of Castilla La Mancha
- Exhibition in the Week of Sustainable Development Goals at the European University of Madrid
And in our international exhibition? So we have started the GRAN with a debate in the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT in BRUSSELS, about how art can positively impact society with our exhibition as an example of the POSSIBLE.
In this debate, how could it be otherwise, we made a good combination: artists, representatives of the UN, Members of the European Parliament, members of the European Commission of Culture, refugees, NGO leaders and 30 seats open to participants for free.
Now we take the exhibition to UNITED NATIONS! in Geneva
If we have achieved all this without a difficulty ... imagine what we could do with your help!
