Concerto Doc-Get Us to Broadcast

Concerto is a compelling documentary about two talented brothers who overcame a difficult childhood at the hands of a brilliant but disturbed father. Charles Rex and Christopher Rex are both accomplished symphony musicians, well-respected by their peers. The theme of Concerto is: Are we who we are because of our past, or in spite of it?
I believe it is an important story with a powerful message for people of all ages, but especially for young gifted people (and their parents) who must struggle with the challenges placed on them by a demanding, competitive world.
The film has appeared in several film festivals over the past two years. It premiered at the Atlanta International Film Festival in April 2016 to an appreciative audience. In July 2016 it was screened at the Madrid International Film Festival and in September 2016 it screened at the Charlotte Film Festival. In February 2017 it was the opening film for the Classical Arts Film Festival in Napa, CA, and received the Best of the Festival Award.
We are now ready to start looking for distribution for our film. Our only obstacle at this point is the need for Errors and Omissions Insurance E&O Insurance). It protects a filmmaker from being sued for the use of titles and footage that might have accidentally been used without the necessary permissions. No one will broadcast our film without it.
The cost of E&O insurance for a documentary is $3000 to $4000. We need to raise that amount before we can go to broadcast.
We know there are many of you who have supported the film over the years of production, and beyond. Please consider helping us again in this final push to get Concerto out into the world. For those of you who are new to the film, we encourage you to become supporters of a film we feel deserves to be seen.
In addition, we would love for you to consider hosting a private party where people coul donate to this GoFundMe campaign. Screening parties are a wonderful event, hosted in your home, or at some other venue of your choosing. Viewing the film with friends can be a wonderful evening of camaraderie and enlightening discussion.
