Concert In the Park 2017

For a large part of our community Concert-in-the-Park has become the premier way to celebrate Independence Day, and its coming to Watertown’s Thompson Park again on July 3, 2017.

·         The concert features the Orchestra of Norther New York, celebrating our Nation’s Independence with a musical variety of American Pops and Summer Jazz.

·         The evening ends with a performance of the1812 Overture and the firing of a battery of the 10th Mountain Division Howitzer cannons. 

·         Then there is a tremendous fireworks display. And it’s FREE, well sort of!

The Watertown Rotary Club in partnership with the City of Watertown, Northern New York Community Foundation, Operation Yellow Ribbon, and a number of corporate sponsors work together to provide much of the funding for this annual event. But we need your help.

To keep this annual event going we’ve set a community goal of raising $15,000 to meet part of the annual costs. The more we raise the more certain we can be that this almost 30 year old tradition will continue.
