Computers for Peruvian Students

Tax deductible
The Cause:
It may be hard to believe, but kids around the world are educated without technology. Computers may be very accessible in America, but students in other countries struggle to obtain them.

The money received will go towards buying computers and printers for students under the care of the Paul Lammermeier Foundation (PLF) in Peru. Kids in PLF just started their school year and need computers to do homework, research, and access online resources. These computers will give students the opportunity to have a modern education. I would really appreciate your donation to this cause.

My Connection:
I felt called to work with PLF because I believe in giving hardworking kids the opportunity to learn and reach their full potential. Last year I had the opportunity to visit one of his homes in Lima and was inspired by Paul Lammermeier's dedication to the kids. Paul Lammermeier has helped children under his care escape the cycle of poverty and creates a constructive family atmosphere in his homes.

Throughout the past year, I have worked with the PLF teaching students English by using Skype. However, I realized that in order for these students to learn and practice English they needed better access to working computers. There was only one computer in a house. The students would also benefit from coding classes as well, knowing how to code is a valuable skill in today's society and would help them immensely in their future jobs.
